Protocol for the management of the chamois nuclei in captivity

Drawing up of a protocol for chamois breeding in wildlife parks to standardize and optimize the management procedures, at present not fully recorded, so as to obtain suitable specimens to be released in the wild. There will also be defined and standardized aspects, such as the environmental requisites, minimal structural requisites, surveillance and professional-operative skills, CITES compliance, registers and other legal obligations, chamois breeding methods, feed requirements, health and reproduction management, capture methods in wildlife parks and the coordination between the wildlife parks and identifying the priorities.
