Carried out thanks to LIFE+ funding from the European Union, LIFE Coornata foresees a full collaboration among the central Apennine parks, which are the project beneficiaries. They are the Majella National Park (coordinating body), the Abruzzo, Latium and Molise National Park, the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, the Monti Sibillini National Park, the Sirente Velino Regional Park, and Legambiente.

Moreover, the support of the Abruzzo, Latium, Marche, Molise and Umbria regional governments is foreseen.
